Arambh – Kahani Devsena Ki is an Indian historical epic fiction television drama series airs on Star Plus. The show has its premier on 24th June 2017 where it telecast on Star plus every weekend that is Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm IST. The basic plot of story revolves around the war between Dravidians and Aryans. The show is created by Rose Audio Visuals and directed by Goldie Behl. Goldie Behl is a well-known Indian Bollywood filmmaker has made films like Bas Itna Sa Khwab hai and Drona and produced films like I me aur Main and London, Paris New York. The historical epic drama is not a franchise of Rajamouli’s Bahubali as it was expected or humoured. The television series was set in the pre-historic era of India at the time when Indus Valley Civilization is perished along with rise of Vedic age. Dominantly based on the cross-fight between Aryans and Dravidians, just not in battle field but also in trading and political strategies. The show casts Rajneesh Duggal as Varundev or Shiva who is eminent for his works in films & television series like Vikram Bhatt’s 1920, Tv reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, Dangerous Ishq, Ek Paheli Leela etc. Vipul Gupta who has known for Doordarshan’s Ek tha Rusty and Web series Maya. Karthika Nayar, an Indian Tollywood actress is playing the female lead as Devsena which belongs to Dravidians where Varundev is from side of Aryans. The show is produced by Shristi Arya and the director Goldie Behl himself. The other prominent casts featured in the series are Tanuja as Hahuma, Tej Sapru as Head purohit of Aryans, Salmaan Saikh as Sivaan, Joy Sengupta as Arvmudan and many more.
